About

I am an MA (Linguistics) candidate at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), South Africa. My research is on scrambling in West-Germanic languages with a special focus on Afrikaans. I received my BA from UKZN in Political Science and Philosophy (2007), and my BA Hons (also UKZN) in Cognitive Science (2008). I subsequently moved to Linguistics (2009) to pursue an interest in syntax.
