Simon's research interests are in metaphysics and the philosophy of mind, especially around personal identity. He has published a number of papers on the role of thought-experiments in the personal identity debate, and has recently been working on the intersection between personal identity, thought-experiments and narrative. His other research interest is in the philosophy of sport.
