About

Dr Clint Le Bruyns is Senior Lecturer in Theology and Development in the School of Religion, Philosophy & Classics at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Having conducted studies at Cornerstone Christian College, University of South Africa, University of the Western Cape, Fuller Theological Seminary and Stellenbosch University, Dr Le Bruyns has served in various institutions including Pat Kelly Bible College, Cornerstone Christian College, Stellenbosch University and Eastern University. His major areas of expertise revolve around public theology, economic ethics, ethical leadership, Paul Tillich, H Richard Niebuhr, kairos theologies, and the role of the church in development discourse and practice. In addition to the publication of many popular and scholarly articles, he co-edited two books: The Humanization of Globalization (Germany, 2008) and Ragbag Theologies (South Africa, 2009). He is currently co-editing a book project on reshaping public opinion on Palestine. He is an active member within various professional theological and ethics societies, as well as on the editorial board of the International Journal of Public Theology, and Soma: An International Journal of Theological Discourses and Counter-Discourses.
